Princeton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Princeton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Bravo Mistral, Bravo! We enjoyed another fantastic Saturday night at Mistral in Princeton with friends, and once again, they did not disappoint. Our server, Sam, was excellent, friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout the evening. We wish her all the best as she heads off to continue her studies! Our usual server, Christian, stopped by with warm hugs and a wonderful β€œgreat to see you.” Those personal touches are one of the reasons we’ve continued coming back for more than six years. We were lucky enough to grab parking right out front and started the evening with perfectly made Old Fashioned and gin and tonics. The appetizers were outstanding: fresh oysters, mussels, fried eggplant, and some seriously good zesty chicken wings. Dinner was equally impressive. Between our table we enjoyed the steak, shrimp and grits, and salmon. All cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Great drinks, excellent food, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that keeps us coming back year after year. After more than six years of dining here, Mistral continues to deliver. Five stars once again. Bravo Mistral, bravo!

If I could give them a ten star review I would ! Food was fresh, delicious and presented perfectly. We started simple, hummus. But this simple introduction was fantastic so much fresh flavor with a hint of umami. Next we added the kale salad, earthy fruity and so filling. For the entree I had the gnocchi with pea shoots and more flavor than this tiny dish should hold. He had the Skate, fantastic!

We recently visited Mistral in Princeton and, unfortunately, we left with mixed feelings β€” and not in a good way. First and foremost, the prices are significantly inflated. You walk in expecting a dining experience that justifies a premium price point, but what was served on the plate simply did not match what we paid for. The food quality was disappointing for the cost, and the portions did nothing to make up for it. In terms of service, it was acceptable β€” nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about either. The staff were reasonably attentive, so no major issues there. Overall, we cannot say we left satisfied with the experience as a whole. Between the overpriced menu and the underwhelming food quality, it was hard to feel good about the value we received. The only bright spot of the evening? The beers. Cold, well-poured, and honestly the highlight of the whole visit. Would we return? Probably not β€” at least not until the price-to-quality ratio sees some serious improvement.

We stopped in for a super quick bite before getting back on the road and had the most wonderful experience sitting at the chef's table. You were able to watch the chefs prepare all of the dishes for the restaurant which made it almost impossible to choose off of this incredible menu. Our server was so sweet and personable.

Went for Valentine’s Day and the server took forever and was not professional. Food was decent but not worth the inflated price. The β€œGrilled Bavette Steak” aka flank steak was prepared good but cheap cut of meat and everything on the dish tasted over saturated with butter. Asked for the desert to go; I’ve had better red velvet cake from supermarkets. Not worth it.
